Desccription: Service Transition and Operations Coordinator
Working within the Authentication division the Service Transition and Operations Co-Ordinator assumes day to day responsibility for communication, guidance, and operation of the Service Transition, Change, Configuration and Release Management processes across numerous customers.
The ideal candidate will guide various teams in the correct use of Service Transition, Change Management and Release Management techniques and ensure processes are correctly followed, providing support and guidance where required.
Co-ordinating changes across multiple customers –
Assessing the priority and impact of all changes for accuracy and clarity.
Assessing the Forward Schedule of Change
Co-ordinating change approvals;
Creating, preparing and distributing Change Management documentation and communications
Ensuring all releases are planned, documented, communicated
Producing Release documentation
Communicating Release progress through regular internal progress meetings
Configuration Management -Closure of changes / Break / Fix incidents / Service Requests /Decommission
Educated to degree level or significant equivalent practical experience
ITIL V3 Foundation certificate (required)
Knowledge of BMC Remedy or equivalent Service Mgmt. software
Knowledge of IT systems, processes and concepts
Excellent communication skills
Experience of working in a Service Management environment including Service Transition, Change, Configuration and Release Management
Exposure to ITIL Service Operations processes
Customer interface experience (Internal and External)
