Desccription: Service Management Transition Lead

Location: Solihull (remote, with possibly 1-2 days per week from the office in the future)
Employment type: Fixed Term Contract (14 months)
Salary: £43000-£50000 + benefit package

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Client's IT Change Delivery Team and become a key member of the management team, building on your excellent team leadership and management skills in an IT environment.

The role

As Service Management Transition Lead your primary role will be to work with the project and internal delivery teams to help build, support, assure and provide the correct service models and governance for the smooth transition of new or modified data centre and managed services.

Your experience

Experience in transition planning and support roles
Strong stakeholder (internal, 3rd party, offshore) management skills
People coaching/mentoring skills
Solid experience and capability of Service Management principles and governance, ideally with a minimum of at least one or more relevant ITIL intermediate qualifications (Service Design, Service Transition or Service Operations) and being able to demonstrate experience and understanding through working within ITIL environments through your previous positions
Experience of working as a manager/team leader
Strong Customer Focused skills
