Desccription: We're looking for a React Developer to join as one of the first members of an in-house team, delivering a robust and performant front end codebase for a client facing platform. You'll be joining in the early days of the CTO's journey to bring a knowledge and talent base in-house, alongside at the early stages of a start-up's journey to scaling up.

The Front End Developer will be joining a proven start-up that has made impressive strides in their support to big name clients through the pandemic. Their platform supports retailers within their online marketing campaigns, providing an interface to design, launch and monitor their promotions from start to finish. Clients have access to a dashboard displaying their campaign data and ROI, alongside the ability to put tailor the system to their brand through a UI builder.

As one of the founding members of the Development team, the React Engineer will need to bring autonomy and the ability to make important decisions. You will be responsible for guiding outsourced teams of Front End Developers to assist in the delivery of the front end codebase. The platform and UI builder design is all ready to go, so the React Engineer can focus on coding.

When we say that the code needs to be robust and performant, the CTO means that it needs to be bulletproof. No error codes thrown at customers, quick loading times – it needs to deliver a flawless technical experience and run as good as it looks. Therefore, a deep knowledge of JavaScript with a range of frameworks and libraries that can tackle any challenge will be highly valued.

So, here's what the Front End Engineer will needs to bring:

Experience with JavaScript, ideally TypeScript
Experience with React and related state management libraries and testing frameworks
Autonomy, and the ability to make key decisions
