Gmail doesn’t support “display: none” but does support “display: none !important”

Gmail doesn’t support “display: none” but does support “display: none !important”

This might make you think you can’t hide anything in Gmail. The following code will be ignored by Gmail.

style=“display:none;” 

Each of the other values for the display property is supported. For example, the following property will work:

style=“display:none !important;” 

Use this to hide elements in Gmail.
