Gmail doesn’t support “display: none” but does support “display: none !important”

This might make you think you can’t hide anything in Gmail. The following code will be ignored by Gmail.

Each of the other values for the display property is supported. For example, the following property will work:

style=“display:none !important;”

Use this to hide elements in Gmail.
