How To Find the Best Domain Name Services for Blogs

Jan 8, 2015 @ 8:22

When it comes to decide what domain name you want to use for your blog, and to find the best domain services as well can be a challenge.

You want to make the decision if you are going to use words related to the content, for better search positioning or a brand name.

You want to make sure not using special characters or too many words, but above all you want to find just the right word, that feels right and no one in the world has already registered previously.

If you want to get an existing one it can cost a lot, or if you just stick with the one that you more feel like is the right one and unique, you can pay as little as £1.99 ($3).

There are several extensions you can choose from these days – .co.uk, .net, .eu, .info, .me and so on, the list goes on.

I prefer, as guru’s of the Internet says, .com, as it seem better for web search robots to pick up, but is relative to your content and how you are going to put all together, don’t just take this as the main decision here.

The main think is to stick to the words as in only one word, even if is multiple words, without dashes or dots.

So how do I decide which one is available out there without having to signup for a service, at least just yet?

You can have a look at this domain search facility provided by Just Host – Give it a go and see if the name you wish is available out there.

Some hosting services offers a free domain when you signup for their domain services, I have created a comprehensive list of the latest hosting services out there today, the one I use and tested before.
